The Direction and Personnel of the École nationale de police du Québec are proud to welcome you on our Web site.

Created in 1969 and dedicated to the training of future police officers, our institution has contributed to the training of all police officers in the province of Québec. Our officers are working either for the Sûreté du Québec or for one of the municipal police forces throughout the province. Over 14,000 police officers work daily in ensuring the security of the population.

Together with our police officers, our ultimate goal is to contribute to make Québec a safe and pleasant place to live.

In order to do so, our school has to set the pace in police training. As such, the search for best practices and ongoing improvement are key components of our mission. To achieve its mission, l’École works in partnership with police forces, colleges and universities by offering police training programs in order to constantly improve our professionalism.
