Distinctive Characteristics of the First Nation Basic Training Program in Police Patrolling (BTPPP)
- This program is offered in both English and French to First Nation cohorts.
- Upon successful completion of the program, the applicant will be able to exercise the policing profession anywhere in the province of Quebec.
- In order to meet the needs of First Nation communities, the ENPQ has taken into account their social issues and adapted the training content to their realities.
- The police cadets are exposed to training contexts simulating the reality of the police officer’s work in a First Nation community.

Admission Requirements
Applicants for a First Nation cohort of the Basic Training Program in Police Patrolling must meet the same admission requirements as all the other applicants.
