From the Co-Chairmen

The International Conference on Criminalistics is held at the moment where Quebec plays a more and more important role in this field. This event is the first of its kind to be held at the École nationale de police du Québec and it will be from September 10-13, 2013.

The theme chosen for the Conference is “Tracking the science in criminalistcs”. Making an update on processing methods regarding the evidence, by presenting research results and innovative practices remains the main objective of this Conference. However, we also want to favor thematic which have made the forensic news either by our practices, innovations, or singularity like:

  • Statistics regarding fingerprints identification
  • Cognitive process of identification
  • Progress in criminalistic since the NAS report (US)
  • And other issues that you may encounter

We are very happy to invite you to this rendezvous of specialists, practitioners and researchers in every specialties of crimininalistic. Come and share your ideas and knowledge and also exchange on practices with colleagues from here and elsewhere around the world.
