The Basic Training Program in Police Patrolling allows police cadets to integrate a training police station where they are trained as police officers by working as such.
To meet the needs of the Indigenous communities, ENPQ has taken into account their social issues and adapted the training content to their realities. Police cadets are therefore exposed to training contexts that simulate the reality of the police officer’s work in an Indigenous community.
The graduation ceremony marks the end of their 15-week training program, which allows them to obtain their permit to practice policing in Québec.

Police cadets are allowed eight guests each in the gymnasium. However, the ceremony will be webcast privately. Police cadets will be able to send the web link a few days before the ceremony to family members and friends who wish to attend remotely.
If any of the guests have disabilities requiring special assistance, the police cadet inviting them must inform the person in charge of extracurricular activities or the team leader of their training program.
