Admission

To be eligible for the Basic Training Program in Police Patrolling, an applicant must meet one of the following requirements: 

1. Have a Diploma of College Studies in Police Technology issued by the Minister of Education and Higher Education. 
2. Have an Attestation of College Studies in Police Technology issued by a college educational institution authorized by the Minister of Education and Higher Education, and have obtained from a police force a promise of employment in the functions of a police officer. 

Distinctive characteristic of First Nation cohorts For First Nation cohorts, the promise of employment must be issued by a First Nation police force.
